Jaya’s Floral Birthday Brunch

This post is waaaaayyy overdue! Her birthday is in October and it’s May lol, life sure does come at ya fast! Especially when you’re pregnant and then have a newborn to care for. So I’m going to keep this post short and sweet!

So she wanted a rose gold party and kept showing me pictures from Pinterest that included rose gold and flowers which I thought was SO pretty and so we went with that theme. I thought it would be nice to do a brunch, made it seem more simple and laid back. I found a similar cake on Pinterest and fell in love! Out of the cakes I pinned we both loved this one! Alana from Cake and Crumb knocked out out the park with her version and the cookies as well, they were both gorgeous! I knew I had to go to Katie from Fancy Free Finery for the topper! She specializes in felt flowers and it came out beautifully!

I only incorporated a couple other desserts that she absolutely loves. I went with macaroons that I picked up from Trader Joe’s and I made chocolate covered strawberries which I added these pretty wafer flowers to that I found at Walmart. Since it was a brunch there were a couple other little sweet treats such as yogurt parfait shooters and mini muffins.

The décor was simple but pretty. I used a light pink linen table cloth that I already had and added a sheer rose colored runner from Amazon. The table wear all came from my favorite Ellie and Piper. The rose plates, blush and rose gold speckled napkins and rose gold cutlery were perfect for the place settings! I also got wooden cut outs from Modern Birch Co of each of her friend’s names to add a special little touch. To make the girls feel a little fancy I set out wine glasses that I added strawberry flavored candy rock straws to that fizzled when we added sparkling juice to the glasses!

I was planning on doing a mini balloon garland with a name sign for the backdrop but when I came across these tissue paper flowers on Pinterest that I could buy from an Etsy shop I about died! They were absolutely perfect!

The colors were gorgeous too, I’m still so obsessed with them!

I did still get a wooden name sign that I ended up putting on the doors behind the table. I also put the curtains from my bedroom on these doors to add a feminine touch and I’m glad I did because coming into the dining area gave it a light and airy feel.

I stuck my bar cart on the corner so I could put the remaining desserts and muffins on it. I also added flowers from Trader Joe’s and a special little birthday message on my pink letter board that I already had.

The girls enjoyed their brunch and did their own thing (hung out in her room and probably did TikToks). We sang happy birthday and opened gifts, it was pretty laid back which I loved! Even though it was pretty simple this was one of my favorite parties that I’ve done for her, I just loved the shades of pink snd the pretty flowers everywhere! Now just 5 more months until her next birthday, haha!

XO,
